Last summer, Higher Learning Network played a significant role in supporting Victory United Inc.’s summer basketball tournament. This event was a tremendous success, providing quality programming for over 100 youth since July.

Sheldon Minnus, the owner of Victory United Inc., expressed his gratitude for the involvement and support from various community leaders and organizations. In a heartfelt message, he extended special thanks to the Honorable Sandra Ung of the NYC Council District 20. Her visit and engagement with the students and parents underscored her commitment to supporting the community throughout Flushing.

Sandra Ung’s dedication, alongside the contributions of Higher Learning Network and others, ensured that the tournament could offer enriching experiences for the participating youth. This collective effort not only fostered a sense of community but also provided a platform for young athletes to develop their skills and enjoy the sport.
