Higher Learning Network & 100 Black Men of Syracuse

The Higher Learning network and the 100 Black Men of Syracuse believe that all scholars need a pathway to grow, achieve, and explore academically, socially and emotionally in order to be prepared to compete globally. These two organizations have designed a Charter School Model that will assist students throughout the Central New York Region in becoming productive global citizens. Both organizations support STEAM education and will focus on its basic pedagogical structures as it applies to STEAM and the management and improvement of student performance and success.

Our goal is to have our students exceed NYS Standards. To accomplish this goal, we will apply an effective student-behavioral management system, while embedding an educational climate that focuses on developing the whole learner. Our students will know that learning is a continuous process that must be approached with vigor and tenacity.
